Ingemat participates, within the HAZITEK program promoted by the SPRI society of the Basque Government, in the ALUJOINT project for the "Development of modular lightweight chassis through the integration of structural components hybridizing advanced aluminum processing and joining technologies".
The aim of the ALUJOINT project is to respond to new mobility concepts by adapting the developments of new structures, sub-assemblies and components of the vehicle of the future. The project will respond to the generation of the necessary knowledge, as well as to the research and development of new technologies and virtual and intelligent tools that allow the manufacture of new lightweight components with complex aluminum geometry.
The consortium is made up of eight relevant companies in the Basque Country and complementary to each other such as: CIE Legazpi, CIE Udalbide, Industria Amaya Telleria, BEFESA, SISTEPLANT, ROBOTECO, INGEMAT and ANALYSIS AND SIMULATION. They will also add the knowledge of the agents of the Basque Science and Technology Network: TECNALIA, AZTERLAN, Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa and the CIE I + D Foundation.
Ingemat's most relevant technological objective is the development of a virtual joining cell for the manufacture of the final assembly of a complex and large geometry.
